West Ford, the founder and father of Gum Springs, was a skilled carpenter.
In recognition of his trade and other tradespeople who serve as the backbone of our community's infrastructure, the Gum Springs Homeowners Association and the West Ford Legacy Foundation will honor these individuals for their steadfast support and commitment to both their church and the Gum Springs community during Pastors Appreciation and West Ford Tradesmen Day on October 11, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Harvest Assembly Baptist Church.
